Outline planning application submitted for new homes in Sherbourne in 2014

Outline planning for up to 35 homes on a site of 5.6 acres was submitted to West Dorset District Council in September 2014.

The application was refused by West Dorset District Council in December 2014. An appeal was submitted and planning permission was granted by the Planning Inspectorate in July 2015.

The Planning Inspectorate allowed the appeal and granted outline planning permission for the residential development of up to 35 houses in July 2015.

Successful strategic land sale at Sherborne

The strategic land site was sold to Bovis Homes for up to 35 houses in 2015.
