Outline Planning Application Submitted In 2016 by Catesby Estates For Land In Wilstead

Outline planning consent for up to 70 homes with 40% affordable housing provision, was granted at Appeal in March 2017, following refusal at local level by Bedford Borough Council.

Catesby Estates worked closely with local stakeholders to design a scheme that was sympathetic to its surroundings, and provided significant public open space with structured tree and landscaping planting.

Strategic land promoted and sold to Bellway Homes

The site was sold to Bellway Homes Limited (Northern Home Counties) in 2018.

Great to see this site known as The Pastures in Wilstead, which Catesby Estates sold to Bellway, have all plots reserved (March 2021).
