
Catesby Estates are please to annouce the sale of a 8.7 acre site in Ambrosden, Oxfordshire to housebuilder, Lioncourt Homes.
The site is to the south of Blackthorn Road, on the eastern fringe of the village of Ambrosden and is under the jurisdiction of Cherwell District Council. The land, which is approximately 3 miles southeast of Bicester Village, has planning permission for up to 55 new homes, of which 35% will be affordable.
The site also makes provision for a new pedestrian route and the formation of new vehicular access from Blackthorn Road, improving Ambrosden’s connectivity. As part of the plans to develop the local community a £432,081 investment will be made in secondary education and a new children’s play area will be constructed.
Cherwell District Council granted Outline Planning Permission in 2024 following the completion of the Section 106 agreement.
