Steve O'Grady - Area Technical Director

A Technical Expert In Bringing Forward Homes On Strategic Land

Steve joined Catesby Estates in May 2019 as Associate Technical Director. He was promoted to Area Technical Director in December 2022.

With a focus on southern England, Steve is responsible for all technical matters relating to the viability, sourcing and delivery of new land.  Whilst also supporting the Planning Team during the planning application process.

A background in housebuilding and new home delivery on strategic sites

Steve has 25 years technical experience in the private sector having worked for an number of national housebuilders, including Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon Homes and Redrow.  He more recently headed up the Technical Departments at Bewley Homes and Bovis Homes, managing a range of challenging developments from inception to completion.

He enjoys overcoming technically challenging design constraints with practical cost effective solutions.
