In another example of collaborative working, the Houlton based Catesby Estates and Urban&Civic teams welcomed members of the Midlands branch of Women in Property to Houlton.
This was a CPD accredited event and included presentations from Catesby’s Associate Planning Director, Dawn Adams around land promotion and the planning environment.
Followed by a presentation by U&C's @Johanne Thomas on the history of the site and its evolution into what you can see today touching on the sustainability, biodiversity and ecology work taking place across the site.
Attendees also enjoyed a wider site tour of Houlton, including a visit to the multi-award-winning Houlton Secondary School which was previously the historic Rugby International Radio Station.
The afternoon finished with lunch and a chance to catchup with colleagues from across the property and development sectors.
Many thanks to Hannah Deverell from WIP and Katie Yates for organising this event which has been several months in the making.
